I just returned from a great trip to Chiang Mai. Have a look at the photos from Doi Suthep and green Mae Rim. In the meantime have a look at my awesome Burma Photo Collection.
Journey from Yangon via Bagan to Inle Lake in one scenic trip, so beautiful that it's mindblowing to put into words.
December '06 - Wanting to get out of the bustling capital for a few days, my friends and I decided to take a 6 day trip to Chiang Mai. Spending somewhere in Thailand more than just 2 days, gave us the opportunity to experience numerous sightseeing trips around the city. Never seen a Panda Bear in Thailand? Then have a look at the photos I took at Chiang Zoo, which is a highly recommended, not to be missed, attraction of Chiang Mai or see the magnificient view from the top of Doi Inthaon, Thailand’s highest mountain with 2565 meter. However, nothing was as fascinating as the beauty of Wat Phrathat Doi Suthep (Thai: ดอยสุเทพ), the most beautiful temple I have ever seen in Asia.
Enjoy the trip and Happy New Year 2007… for that times will be better for Thailand.
Also, have a look at the additions of the photo library, such as the Airbus A380, which visited Bangkok's new Suvarnabhumi Airport on the HM The King's Birthday, or the Srinakarin Dam, Erawan Waterfall, Kanchanaburi. If that's not enough, check out my recent trip to Laos, where I visited Vientianne & Luang Prabang, both of which I can highly recommend to anyone, who wants to have a relaxing holiday in a cosy and friendly atmosphere... or a nice trip to Huahin, with a visit to King Mahidol's observatorium, the Hyatt Regency Huahin, and a Thai military training camp.
